We moved from the lower mainland of British Columbia back to Saskatchewan to build our dream home at the lake and were a bit apprehensive about returning to frigid winters. Our home is amazingly warm and retains the heat so well that our furnace is rarely running. The main great room area is over looked by a loft and with hardwood floors, most people said we would not be happy with sound issues and echoes; however this is not the case with the Pacific SmartWallTM, the sound quality in our home is excellent. We love the quality of our home and would highly recommend Pacific Homes.

We are into some cold days at the moment…well cold for the island anyway…-4°C. The house is amazingly warm and very quiet inside. The winds need to be about 60-70 kph before we are even aware of them. A real testament to the smart wall system. With no heat on, the house will level off at about 60°F and sustain that level. Up to a comfortable 70°F when we fire up the wood stove. Just wanted to share this with you. I expect the insulation will also prove its worth in the summer when we are trying to keep the heat out.
